What can you expect from the Main Street House? Comfort. Style. Sanctuary.

Originally constructed in the early 1920s, A Fresh Approach has been taken with the interior design. Contemporary furnishings, colors and textures await you.

Guest rooms that reflect the colors and feelings inspired by specific works of art that have been collected for just that purpose. Common areas that invite you to linger with a favorite book, and listen to, or play for that matter, the baby grand piano or acoustic guitar in the Gathering Rooms.

You'll find Brenham, Washington County, and the area around us to be a happening place! Live music, live theatre, fantastic shopping and exquisite restaurants are all within easy walking distance. And you'll find, at the end of the day, the Main Street House to be a comfortable, stylish sanctuary.

Options, Options, Options

We know that sometimes breakfast for dinner just sounds good, or that breakfast sometimes turns into brunch when you want to take those rare opportunities to sleep in. So we've designed a gourmet continental breakfast that you can enjoy all or part of anytime during your stay.

The fridge is stocked, the counter is full, the kitchen is always open, so you can enjoy a Self-Serv breakfast anytime between check-in and check-out.

In the fridge you will find individual servings of:

• Crustless quiche (gluten free);
• Sliced fruit
• Greek yogurt (with all the fixin's)
• Meat and cheese tray
• Seasonal salad
• Juice and milk

On the counter, help yourself to:

• Smoothie bar - grab a pre-measured "Smoothie Pack" from the freezer and blend away. Recipes are available to assist your creative side
• Fresh-baked sweet breads, which will include one or two of the following:
• Banana bread
• Zucchini bread
• Chocolate chip
• Seasonal breads
• Assorted dry cereals
• Whole fruit
• French press coffee with an assortment of coffee blends from Independence Coffee
• Loose leaf hot tea
