The Franziska Haus Bed and Breakfast provides a unique lodging experience to travelers seeking Willamette Valley Wines. Located in the heart of the Dundee Hills AVA, just 2 miles west of Newberg, our guests are easily able to enjoy the vast array of renowned vineyard experiences.

Upon entering this newly constructed Log Lodge structure, you will be greeted by the stone-crafted twenty nine foot high fireplace.  It is in this grand, yet cozy, great room where guests can curl into comfortable couches, enjoy the company of fellow travelers, or rejuvenate with a favorite book.  The rustic setting is contrasted with elegant, Old World accents, making those who stay at the Franziska Haus feel as though they have experienced something truly unique.  The marvel of the interior is graced with views of surrounding filbert orchards, grazing sheep, nearby vineyards and the distant Chehalem Hills. You will be happy to call this home for a time as you easily travel to and from this Dundee Hills Bed and Breakfast to the many nearby award winning wineries, restaurants and attractions!

In the morning, guests will be enticed with fresh gourmet coffee, refreshing juice and our signature baked goods from our Oma Franziska’s recipes. Accompanying breakfasts may consist of cast iron skillet entrées of traditional hearty German cuisine. With advance notice, we are happy to accommodate guest’s specific culinary needs.
