- Chautauqua Institution is a world-renowned cultural center for the arts & humanities, and is the home of popular and classical entertainment, classes, lectures and a wonderful collection of restored Victorian architecture.
- Peek 'n Peak Resort, located in Findley Lake, NY, is the area's premier ski/golf destination offering fine resort accommodations & amenities. Peek 'n Peak welcomes the PGA National Tour to our corner of Chautauqua County during the annual Lake Erie Charity Classic, scheduled for June, 2004.
- Chautauqua-Lake Erie Wine Trail With 12 member wineries centered along the Lake Erie shoreline, the Wine Trail is home to the largest grape growing region in the East.
- Lily Dale Assembly - the world's largest spiritual community is celebrating its 125th anniversary. James Van Praagh, Dr. Wayne Dyer, and the Tibetan Monks of the Dreprung Loseling are scheduled during for the 2004 season.
- Roger Tory Peterson Institute of Natural History World class nature exhibits, Nature Store, hiking trails & butterfly garden.
- Audubon Nature Center & Sanctuary A 600-acre wildlife sanctuary with easy hiking trails, observations towers, exhibits, bird collection, special events, programs and Nature Store.
- The waters of Chautauqua County are widely known for superb bass and musky fishing. Home to two of the top walleye fisheries in the country, Field and Stream Magazine recently recognized Chautauqua County as “Walleye Capital of the World”. Dunkirk, NY has twice hosted In-Fishermen’s Professional Walleye Trail on Lake Erie revealing what local anglers have known all along -- Chautauqua County is home to some of the finest inland walleye fishing in the country!
- The "heartlands" of Chautauqua County offer the Gerry Rodeo, the oldest consecutively running rodeo east of the Mississippi and lush countryside dotted with Amish communities and working dairy farms. And in nearby North East, PA, Lake Erie Speedway is sanctioned by NASCAR & is a part of the NASCAR Weekly Racing Series.

The highlight of the season -- each February when Chautauqua Lake hosts a 3-day Winter Festival that features an Ice Castle Extravaganza (the southernmost Ice Castle in the country!), sleigh rides, ice carvings, snow sculptures & fireworks.
