    The Camden Windward House is a traditional Bed and Breakfast right in Camden Village, mere steps from the harbor, shops and dining. It is not only your place to stay in Camden, but the innkeeper’s home. The hosts of this B&B are a small family that live and work together in this big old 1864 Greek revival, historic, romantic house. Windward House is very close to downtown, an easy walk to all Camden attractions. The innkeepers pay special attention to the comfort of the bedding. Guests frequently comment after a restful night’s sleep, that they’d like to take the bed home with them! Windward House guests also frequently comment on how delighted they are to be offered a choice of breakfast dishes. Windward House breakfasts consist of menu choices of simple traditional food made with fresh local ingredients. Also added to the menu are daily specials. The Windward House serves its own blend of fair trade organic, rich, freshly ground and brewed coffee. Room rates include breakfast and afternoon tea, coffee and home baked treats. The inn has a small bar for guests only and serves beer wine and spirits as well as cheese and fruit platters. Inn Room Extra’s include such items as well as massages that may be ordered before arrival.     Located just steps from the center of town and the harbor, Abigail’s is conveniently close to all that Camden has to offer. Our guests are a short walk from fine dining, live performing arts, sailing, kayaking, and shopping. With access to Camden Hills State Park via the Mt. Battie trail from the rear of the property, you can roam 30 miles of hiking trails with breathtaking views of the Penobscot Bay, Gulf of Maine, and Lake Megunticook. Abigail’s has 4 guest rooms, each of substantial size and comfort. Each room is decorated in its own style, providing the classic feel of an 1830’s era Greek Revival while providing the convenience of modern amenities.     A romantic hideaway in Camden Maine’s Historic District, A Little Dream is set on 2 sloping acres of rolling lawns and perennial borders, overlooking two small castles, with pretty tree-framed views of Penobscot Bay, Camden Harbor and the islands beyond.     Romantic and comfortably elegant, the Belmont Inn has been a welcoming home-away-from-home for travelers since the 1920’s. Built as a family home in 1891, this free classic Victorian has lovely wraparound porches, wood burning fireplaces in the first floor living room and dining room, large perennial gardens and the understated but charming architectural details of a home built in the late 19th century.     “Our” dream of 20 years was to own a bed and breakfast in Maine. Children educated and gone, Cyndi and Jim Ostrowski fulfilled that dream when they moved to Camden and bought Blackberry Inn in 1998. But there’s more! Four years later, a new chapter began when our neighboring inn, The Elms, became available.     Camden Harbor is one of the most picturesque harbors in Maine. Since 1936, a fleet of wooden schooners has sailed from Camden carrying vacationers on scenic cruises amid the islands of Penobscot Bay. Maine is the host to the largest schooner fleet in the world, and is known as the schooner capital. Take a 2-hour cruise on one of Camden’s schooners, such as the Schooner Lazy Jack, the Schooner Olad, or the Schooner Surprise. Take a lobster cruise on the Lively Lady Too to see the local coast. Or take a longer cruise on a large windjammer.

    Drive or hike to the top of Mt. Battie in Camden Hills State Park offers a spectacular view of Penobscot Bay. Whether facing Mt.     Chestnut Street heads out of Camden toward Rockport.
