Blue Ridge is only a 15 minute drive south from the Tennessee border and only a 90 minute drive north of Atlanta. If you're in the area looking for a B&B, or a place to stay, you may be interested in any Blue Ridge bed and breakfast, or any Blue Ridge inn. This town offers The Arts in the Park festival which is held in Blue Ridge City Park on Memorial Day weekend and includes fine art, handmade crafts, artists demonstrations, and much more. They also have The Blue Ridge community theater which presents an impressive lineup of plays year round including favorites such as A Christmas Carol, Nun-sense, and The Foreigner. Another interesting place to stop is The Blue Ridge Scenic Railway which offers a unique way to see the natural beauty that the area has to offer. Or if in the mood for an adventure try The Ocoee Whitewater Rafting Center, created for the 1996 Olympic games. It is a one-of-a-kind attraction that brings rafters from around the world.
